I am happy right now

So last night, I came home, and cleaned the bathroom, and still had time to make dinner, and then after I finished the dishes, I was looking around the living room at what I needed to clean there. 

One thing, was this bedside table, that we keep next to the couch, it was full of random clutter and such. So I moved the clutter to the clutter drawer, and put away the things that had places, and told Clint that I wanted to make an alter setting on that table; a horribly scary thing for me to do, because he often makes fun of my practices, not in a mean way, but it still makes me uncomfortable. However, he didn't seem to mind at all, as I set up my candles, and statues, and plaques.

I even started drawing on a piece of wood, that will soon be my main alter plaque, and he was asking what certain symbols mean, and while still being a smart ass, he was very supportive of it. It just makes me happy to know that even though he thinks it's crazy, he still loves me for believing it. 

I even got to teach him a little about Imbolic! (The holiday celebrating the coming of spring on February 2nd.) He didn't care too much, but didn't roll his eyes when I told him the stories. It's just a very pleasing thing to know that even though we have our major differences, he still loves and cares for me, because this one aspect of me, doesn't define who I am as an entirety. 

Also, in case you didn't know, one of the legends of Imbolic, is that this is the time that the Crone goes to gather the last of her fire wood for the winter. She wants to make the winter last as long as possible, and be as cold as it can, so she makes the day of Imbolic, pleasant and warm. This way, she can gather more firewood. If the day is cold, and nasty, it means that there is warm  weather coming quickly, because she will not have gathered enough wood to make the winter last. 

That was, of course, yesterday, and here it was a warm, sunny, pleasant day. Today however, is very cold, and there are talks of ice. I am stocking up on salt and socks tonight
